Harvest Pub Operations Seeks Experienced Chef

We are seeking a skilled and creative chef to join our kitchen team at The Woy Woy Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profile
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of food supplies to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Ensure consistent quality control throughout meal preparation and presentation
  • Collaborate with managers and staff to address food preparation issues and improve overall kitchen efficiency
  • Train and mentor junior chefs in food preparation techniques and cooking procedures
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards
  • Maintain and enforce food safety and occupational health and safety standards
  • Store, freeze, and preserve foods in accordance with safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of full-time experience as a qualified chef and certificate IV in commercial cookery (or similar)
  • Alternatively, at least three years of experience as a chef in a restaurant setting may substitute the formal qualification

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
