Job Title: Executive Chef

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our kitchen team at The Woy Woy Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of food standards and contributing to the overall performance and reputation of the hotel in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and implement innovative and seasonal menus that meet the needs of our restaurant
* Conduct regular stock inventory and ordering of food supplies
* Oversee meal standards from preparation to table service, ensuring quality control
* Collaborate with managers and staff to address food preparation issues
* Train and develop cooks and chefs in food preparation techniques and cooking procedures
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
* Maintain and enforce food hygiene and occupational health and safety standards

Requirements:

* Minimum two years of full-time experience as a qualified chef and certificate IV in commercial cookery (or similar)
* Alternatively, at least three years of experience as a chef in a restaurant setting may substitute the formal qualification

Working Conditions:

* Full-time position
* Competitive salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
* In-person work location
