
Equipment Procurement Specialist

The Equipment Procurement Specialist plays a pivotal role in the efficient management of tooling, asset maintenance, and purchasing within a service team. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication, and experience with purchasing, supplier engagement, and invoice management.
Key Responsibilities- Governance and scheduling of all equipment purchases, maintenance, calibrations, and compliance
- Tracking and purchasing of PPE and consumables, collaborating with suppliers to assess product demand and ensure adequate stock levels
- Accurate record keeping of equipment and workshop assets, including scheduling of calibrations, inspections, and repairs
- Sourcing quotes from suppliers and monitoring back orders
- Assisting with general service administration duties as required for the service teams
- Previous experience in a similar service or equipment procurement role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with purchasing, supplier engagement, and invoice management
- Organized and motivated, with ability to work independently and within a team
- Demonstrated MS Office experience, including Word and Excel
- Purchasing and procurement expertise
