Job Opportunity
The role of Family Liaison Officer involves assisting defence families to integrate with their local communities and navigate the complexities of military life. This entails planning events and activities to support defence families, developing strong relationships between the community, defence families, and the defence force, as well as administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include responding to enquiries and updating records accordingly, engaging with stakeholders - internal and external, and collecting data to inform reports, submissions, and correspondence.
About You
Applicants should possess experience working with defence or veterans, exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal, and demonstrate strong administrative abilities, including accurate data entry and attention to detail. The successful candidate will also showcase sound time management and organisational skills, flexibility to work on occasion, and ability to undertake occasional travel as required.
