A Typical Day as a Support Worker

- Supporting person-centred plans to identify and achieve customer life goals
- Participating in recreational activities such as swimming, dancing, bingo, horseback riding, gym sessions, bowling, and more
- Assisting with daily living skills like meal preparation, housekeeping, showering, toileting, medication administration, and attending appointments
- Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
- Administration duties and mandatory daily reports.

  • Residing locally in the Busselton region is required
  • Willingness to support customers of any gender by assisting with personal care and domestic duties
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills for effective working relationships
  • Passion for providing service and assistance
  • Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration
  • Proven administration and computer literacy skills
  • Availability to work between 15-25 hours per week
  • Cert III in Disability or Individual Support, OR willingness to work towards one
  • Willings to use your fully insured and registered, private vehicle
