Job Description

As a Tax Leadership expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tax compliance strategies across various jurisdictions. You will lead critical projects and process automation initiatives to revolutionise how tax functions operate in a modern organisation.

  • Strategic Tax Planning: Develop and implement a robust tax framework that ensures excellence in navigating complex multinational operations in the technology sector.
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead teams and stakeholders at all levels, including board-level presentations, and drive strategic transformation through process improvement and tangible outcomes.
  • Commercial Acumen: Translate complex tax strategies into business value and navigate ambiguity to deliver half-year and full-year tax effect accounting.

Key responsibilities include architecting global tax frameworks, driving strategic transformation, enabling intelligent decision-making, and building exceptional capability within a high-performing team of professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Big 4 trained professional with subsequent commercial/in-house corporate experience is required. Proven expertise managing tax for multinational operations, ideally in technology or organisations with significant people mobility, is essential. Australian tax expertise is required, with knowledge of US, UK, and Asian jurisdictions highly regarded.
