We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Community Engagement team at EACH Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our staff to deliver high-quality services to older adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Manage and support a team of staff to enable them to carry out their responsibilities and deliver a client-focused service.
    • Operationalize and manage the day-to-day activities of the program.
  • Communication and Relationship Building
    • Communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships with participants, carers, and relevant community organizations for coordination of participant service delivery.
    • Actively participate in and promote the program to identify activities and ensure successful community engagement outcomes.
  • Financial Management
    • Ensure the centre budget is maintained and client hours and engagement increase.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Demonstrated experience in a similar position managing and leading teams.
    • Aged Care Qualifications in a related field are desirable.
    • Certificate or Diploma in Business Management is desirable.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to relate to a broad cross-section of people who are frail, aged, or others who are receiving services from EACH in a collaborative and supportive manner.
    • Knowledge of the leisure and health needs of older people living in the community as well as their diverse physical, social, emotional, and cultural needs.
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, volunteers, families, clients, carers, and other professionals as part of a team or sole worker.
    • Current state-based driver's license.
