Senior Legal Counsel
Job Description:Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal and strategic support on a range of property-related matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, finance, construction, and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice and support on property-related matters, including due diligence, contract review, and negotiation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential legal issues.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations affecting the property and construction industries.
The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years' post-admission experience in property law, with some exposure to construction law. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:- Postgraduate qualification in law.
- Registration with the relevant state or territory bar council.
- Minimum 6-8 years' experience in property law, with some exposure to construction law.
