
Physician Services Specialist

The role of an Exercise Physiologist involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality exercise physiology services. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will provide expert care to clients across various settings, including community and aged care sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-centre and home visit-based services to support clients' health and wellbeing needs.
- Work closely with the Allied Health Lead - Exercise Physiology for regular support and guidance.
- Mentor new graduates and less experienced Exercise Physiologists, enhancing their skills and knowledge under the supervision of Senior Exercise Physiologists.
- Build your own caseload and manage client relationships to increase individual services and group classes offered by the Exercise Physiologist team.
- Manage your workload effectively, adhering to realistic productivity targets.
- Enjoy flexibility in your work schedule and days/hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Exercise Physiology with current ESSA Accreditation.
- Ability to grow and maintain client relationships through successful results and positive word of mouth.
- Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven expertise in Exercise Physiology assessment and treatment of individuals presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care and chronic illnesses/diseases.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain rapport with colleagues, clients, and their carers.
- Effective problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to handle conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability and proficiency in documenting and accurate record keeping.
- A willingness to work within the organisation's Philosophy, Policies, and Procedures.
