Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Child Protection Case Manager who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children and families. This role involves managing a caseload of child protection cases, including conducting assessments, developing case plans, and monitoring progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of child protection cases, including conducting assessments, developing case plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and community services to ensure the best outcomes for children and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring that all case management systems and processes are followed.
  • Attend regular supervision and training sessions to ensure ongoing professional development and compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling, or equivalent).
  • At least one year of experience in child protection case management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex trauma.
  • Must have a valid Blue Card (or be eligible to obtain one).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a complex caseload.
