We are seeking a skilled lawyer to join our team at c3-talent. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your expertise in an in-house role.

This leading facilities management, construction and service provision company is pioneering complex and remote construction and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will support the Executive General Manager and Legal Counsel and be given exciting and varied construction and infrastructure legal matters and disputes to provide advice on.

You will be a critical member of a dynamic and highly collaborative team, offering advice and recommendations on a wide range of interesting legal work across commercial contracts and construction law matters for an enviable list of projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and recommendations on a wide range of interesting legal work across commercial contracts and construction law matters.
  • Managing and supporting external lawyers in back-end construction litigation.
  • Drafting and advising on a variety of construction and infrastructure contracts that vary greatly in complexity.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following attributes:

  • At least 3-5 years PQE experience preferably within construction and infrastructure.
  • A high level of competency and ability to work autonomously to deliver commercial outcomes in a timely way.
  • A commercially pragmatic approach to providing legal solutions within acceptable risk parameters.

You must have a current Australian practising certificate and solid experience in drafting and advising on a broad range of contractual and commercial matters. High-level interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders are also essential.
