About the Job

We are seeking a talented Marketing Content Specialist to join our brand marketing team at Spotlight Retail Group (SRG).

In this position, you will lead a coordinator and work closely with the Content Marketing Manager to provide a structured plan of digital content for the SRG brand.

You will work with the in-house content team to plan, deliver & analyze high-quality, high-performing digital Organic & Paid content, including social videos, photos, blog articles, & other native content.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Content Marketing Manager & brand in planning & delivering content that aligns with seasonal, category, & promotional requirements.
  • Support Content Marketing Manager with content budget management.
  • Build strong, cooperative relationships with internal & external teams to ensure effective, customer-centric content is planned & delivered.
  • Support the management of digital content planning & production processes & resources across internal & external resources.
  • Manage reporting outputs to inform future content decisions.
  • Assist with copywriting for content outputs.
  • Manage & mentor one direct report.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Highly organized & detail-oriented: excels at meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks & making decisions.
  • Proven ability to plan, collaborate & manage digital content execution with key stakeholders.
  • Skilled at translating business needs into planning & executing engaging customer-centric digital content.
  • Experience building partnerships with brands, influencers & agencies.
  • Proficient in social scheduling platforms & content analytics (Sprout, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Paid Social & planning Paid Social content outputs highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SEO would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or agency environment is preferred.
