Role Overview

We are seeking motivated electrical engineers with experience in delivering water infrastructure solutions. You'll play an integral role amongst a diverse group of skilled professionals who design and deliver program and project excellence for water clients.

You will join a dynamic team working on water infrastructure projects locally and across the APAC region, focused on water supply and sewerage schemes with key authorities in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering tasks on assigned projects under general supervision, including drawings, reports, presentations, and applications to regulatory agencies.
  • Develop design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and prepare documentation in various electrical phases, including layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by researching, analysing, selecting, and applying electrical engineering concepts.
  • Assist project managers with developing and managing project scope, including cost estimates, budget, staffing, and schedule.
  • Prepare portions of engineering project proposals, change orders, client contact, and communication pertaining to specific projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartership or working towards is highly regarded.
  • At least 6 years' experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry.
  • Proven electrical design experience in the water and wastewater industry.
  • Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.
