Momentum has joined forces with a large Australian supplier of ready-made meals, and we are currently looking for skilled Machine Operators to join their team at their Arndell Park facility.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cold storage environment, operating machinery and production lines to produce high-quality ready-made meals. As a successful candidate, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and production lines to ensure optimal performance and quality
  • Monitor equipment to detect any issues and report them to the relevant authorities
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the equipment is functioning correctly
  • Set up production runs, perform pre-op inspections, and calibrate equipment as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Monitor production output and quality, making adjustments to machine settings or processes as necessary to meet production targets and quality specifications

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating machinery in a food or pharmaceutical environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a cold storage environment for the duration of the shift
  • PPE including a freezer jacket and thermal wear is essential
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift weights up to 20 kgs is required
  • Full-time work rights in Australia are necessary
  • Ability to work with pork, beef, seafood, and nuts is essential
