Expertise in air dispersion modelling, emissions inventories and field investigations is required for this Air Quality Consultant role.

  • Undertake technical assignments including air quality assessments and reporting
  • Develop emissions inventory models to quantify environmental impacts
  • Conduct specific site investigations in the Pilbara region
  • Develop environmental management strategies to comply with regulations
  • Collaborate with experts on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Project manage individual projects independently
  • Prepare project proposals, including scope of work and costs estimates

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science, or a related discipline
  • Over 5 years postgraduate work experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in AERMOD, CALPUFF, GRALL, and WRF desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Ability to conduct analysis with R and Python also desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work on complex projects
