Overview:

Seeking an experienced professional to design, architect and document cloud infrastructure solutions for a federal agency.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining complex cloud pipelines, as well as experience working with technical teams to orchestrate delivery pipelines across design, build, test, deploy and run.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure DevOps.
  • Establish and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud-based applications.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues related to cloud operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of cloud infrastructure architecture.

Requirements:
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g. Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining Azure resources including Azure App Service.
  • Relevant technology certifications across the cloud Infrastructure landscape.
  • Proven experience working in a hybrid environment and designing moves from on-premise to cloud platforms.
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining complex Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Proficient in developing pipelines that deploy Infrastructure as a Code (IAC).
  • Ability to communicate and consult with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GIT version control and common branching strategies.
  • Experience with Visio to create technical documentation.
  • Good knowledge of implementing IAC with CICD (Azure DevOps / Github).
