Job Description

Our Tech team is responsible for building our all-in-one business management platform. As an Engineering Manager, you will be part of this team and play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our products.

The key responsibilities of this role include providing technical and architectural leadership to a team of software engineers, designing and developing robust, scalable, and efficient cloud-based software solutions, setting and communicating the technical vision and direction for the engineering team, and defining and overseeing the architecture of cloud infrastructure.

In addition, you will ensure that the software architecture supports performance, scalability, and security requirements, implement and promote engineering practices that align with industry standards, oversee code quality, testing procedures, and documentation, manage team members' performance, career development, and professional growth, drive the hiring, onboarding, and retention of engineering talent, and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.

To succeed in this role, you will need several years of hands-on experience in software development, proven experience with architecting cloud hosted platforms, demonstrated leadership of skilled development teams in product development, in-depth experience in implementing high-performance development capabilities, utilising agile methodologies, and experience developing financial or accounting systems preferred.
