About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Permanent Full-Time Teacher of Nursing at our Gunnedah campus.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in acute care and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our students and contributing to the development of our nursing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training to students in acute care and related areas
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment materials
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of our nursing programs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Recognised industry-related qualification at least one level higher than Diploma (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Minimum of three years relevant post-qualification experience in acute care as a Registered Nurse
  • Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accreditation requirements
