Job Overview

This role is a key position within the logistics team responsible for managing vessel arrivals and warehouse operations.

  • Plan and coordinate logistics requirements for vessel arrivals, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal disruptions to operations.
  • Resolve equipment and store concerns from the cutter fleet in a timely and effective manner.
  • Oversee the management of warehouse environments and supervise team members to maintain high standards of productivity and safety.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics plans for vessel arrivals, taking into account various factors such as weather conditions and resource availability.
  • Provide resolution to stores and equipment concerns, utilizing problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
  • Manage stock levels and serviceability of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing waste.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Supervise staff performance, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team goals are met.
  • Undertake regional and interstate travel, representing the organization in a professional capacity.
  • Work in challenging environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and exposure to harsh elements.
  • Work outside of standard core hours, requiring flexibility and adaptability in meeting organizational needs.
