About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Manager to join our leadership team in Townsville. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of our Residential Care Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a team of Child & Family Practitioners and Youth Workers to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people in Out of Home Care.
  • Oversee the caseloads of direct reports and provide practical support as required.
  • Manage the Family Intervention Service, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and internal policy.
  • Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with program budget, local business plans, and client needs and plans.
  • Develop and lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage risks and issues arising in the course of service management.
Requirements
  • Recognised degree qualifications in Human Services or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
  • Strong coordination, leadership, and peer support skills.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and reflective practice skills.
  • High-level communication, influencing, liaison, negotiation, and mediation skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
