Cloud Integration Specialist

This exciting opportunity is your chance to make a real difference in the Australian health sector. As a Cloud Integration Specialist, you will play a vital part in delivering secure, scalable, and user-centered infrastructure for the country's healthcare systems.

Working closely with a high-performing team, you will provide specialist expertise in cloud integration, identity solutions, and cross-platform environments. Your contributions will ensure robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure to meet long-term organisational goals.

This contract position (with an option for extension) offers a challenging and rewarding experience. You will be based in Canberra with flexible work arrangements available, including hybrid work options. A baseline clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in cloud-based architecture and identity/integration solutions across platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure, and VMware.
  • Manage, support, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to maintain availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with Agile delivery teams and technical leads to translate requirements into sustainable cloud solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and internal standards while delivering fit-for-purpose integration solutions.
  • Support CI/CD automation and pipeline development to enhance deployment efficiency.
  • Engage in cross-cloud integration, security elements, and authentication management.
  • Develop clear technical documentation for future operational support and knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to service delivery, incident response, change management, and operational excellence within a medium to large ICT environment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing enterprise-level solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Solid understanding of inter-cloud and on-premise infrastructure, with a focus on identity and security integration.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and learning new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience in ICT service delivery, including operations, support, and incident/change management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working collaboratively with vendors, including effective escalation management.
  • Familiarity with F5, ServiceNow, SailPoint, or Micro Focus Fortify.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments, e.g., AWS, Azure.
  • Formal qualifications in ICT, engineering, or a related field.
