SMSF Financial Services Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior SMSF Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Superannuation Funds and handling end-to-end compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation for SMSF clients.
- Compliance Management: Manage SMSF accounting and compliance matters from start to finish.
- Liaising with Auditors: Liaise with external auditors and act as the primary point of contact for SMSF clients.
- Legislative Updates: Stay up-to-date with superannuation legislation and compliance changes.
- Process Improvement and Team Development: Assist in process improvements and mentor junior team members (if desired).
- SMSF Platform Expertise: Work with Class, BGL360, or similar SMSF platforms.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working with SMSFs in a public practice firm.
- Strong SMSF Compliance Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of SMSF compliance.
- Software Experience: Have experience with Class, BGL360, or similar software.
- Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective Communication: Be a confident communicator with a client-first approach.
- Qualifications: CA/CPA qualified or working towards.
