Job Title: Skilled Park Worker and Park Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Skilled Park Worker and Park Operator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about parks and gardens management, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to our community.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for carrying out key roles in plant operation activities, including the delivery and maintenance of efficient and effective day-to-day operations of parks, natural areas, roadside vegetation, and landscape improvement projects.

You will have knowledge in general operation of various types of plant, including pneumatic tyred tractors without powered attachments, pneumatic tyred tractors with powered attachments up to 110 KW, and other plant allowable under relevant legislation.

As a Skilled Parks Worker and Park Operator, you will also be required to perform Leading Hand responsibilities, including supervision of tasks, provision of on-the-job coaching as needed, and work effectively as a member of a high-performing team.

You will be expected to ensure that all work is carried out in a timely manner to the required quality standards, while identifying new ways to improve work practices and contribute to the overall success of the team.
