Logistics Operations Specialist

Job Description
- As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and resolve issues competently and appropriately.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to all customers.
- Monitor shipments from order entry to delivery to ensure on-time performance.
- Identify customer needs and coordinate with owner operators or outside agents for cost-effective shipment execution.
- Support new and existing customer accounts to foster business development.
- Assist contractors with critical shipment information via phone and email.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, experience considered in lieu of formal education.
- 1 year industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred; basic computer skills required.

Work Hours: Generally standard hours with occasional irregular hours.
Travel Requirements: Minimal (0%-25%).
Compensation: Hourly, paid biweekly, with variable components.
