Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of caregiver caseloads for self and supervised caregivers.
  • Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
  • Demonstrate consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence-based practice in service mental health programs and related clinical areas.
  • Provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to the team, including clinical risk management.
  • Provide mental health services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills e.g. complex trauma.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the safety and quality of consumer care.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will bring demonstrated expertise in delivering both individual and group therapy across a range of mental health presentations.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced mental health professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Nursing, along with current registration with AHPRA or membership with the appropriate professional association.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a leadership role within a community-based mental health setting, including the ability to allocate tasks effectively and supervise a team.

You will be well-versed in trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practices, and have a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all children and vulnerable individuals in our care.
