Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Geology Manager to lead our mine geology function and be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology, with extensive experience in the mining industry, particularly in gold and gold-related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mine geology function, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement geological models to improve mine planning and production.
  • Manage and mentor a team of geologists, geological technicians, and contract labour.
  • Develop and maintain predictive grade control models.
  • Improve and maintain QAQC procedures and database management.
  • Supervise resource infill drilling programs and associated contract personnel and consultants.

Requirements:

  • Higher degree in Geology or a related geoscientific discipline.
  • Extensive experience in the mining industry, particularly in gold and gold-related systems.
  • Broad knowledge of mineral systems targeting, geological modelling, and geostatistical resource estimation methods.
  • Proven understanding of QAQC procedures, database management, drilling, and sampling practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience working in underground mining environments.
