About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underground Mine Geologist to join our team at Regis Resources. As a key member of our underground geology team, you will be responsible for providing technical advice, planning, and methodology for all aspects of our underground mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement grade control procedures to optimize mining operations
  • Manage and maintain grade control databases and block models to ensure accurate geological data
  • Supervise and mentor geologists and sampling crews to ensure high-quality data collection and analysis
  • Report on geological activities to the UG Geology Superintendent and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Compile and analyze end-of-month reports, key statistics, and reconciliation data to inform mining operations
  • Manage geological-related projects and assist in the development of budgets and forecasts
  • Assist in the mine forecasting and scheduling process to ensure optimal mining operations

About You:

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Geology
  • At least 7 years' experience working in a similar role within a hard rock underground environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Experience with report writing, database usage, and mining geology software
  • Familiarity with costing systems, cost control, and forecasts
  • Current WA class C manual drivers' license
