About the PositionThis position offers an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to engage in on-site investigations, inspections, and fieldwork while producing comprehensive geotechnical reports. You will collaborate closely with Senior Geotechnical Engineers on design, report writing, and project management, ensuring you develop into a well-rounded engineer equipped with diverse skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and insights to clients
- Mentor and support junior team members in their professional growth and development
- Execute site inspections, geological face mapping, and geotechnical testing to gather essential data
- Contribute to design efforts by integrating geotechnical findings into project plans and recommendations
- Prepare tenders and proposals
- Coordinate contractors and equipment for siteworks
- Completed a Bachelor Degree within Engineering
- Proficient in RocScience, Wallap & Plaxis (Ideal)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Hold a current Australian Driver's License
