At National Networks Plus, we are seeking a skilled Disability Support Professional to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. As a Disability Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate 3 in Disability or Aged Care, or a Certificate IV in Youth Work, and recent experience in a similar role. You will also need to have a strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

As a Disability Support Professional with National Networks Plus, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide support with daily living activities, such as personal care and household management
  • Assist clients with accessing community resources and services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Disability or Aged Care, or Certificate IV in Youth Work
  • Recent experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Unrestricted Australian driver's license
