Civil Project Engineer Role

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to work on upcoming projects with earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures. The primary challenge is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements.

  • Plan and conduct professional engineering work without direct supervision
  • Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas
  • Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities
  • Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, with equipment suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and the constructability of projects
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent
  • Substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy/utilities projects
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at various levels both internally and externally
