The Opportunity
We're looking for a multi-skilled travel specialist to join our team as a Travel Manager in North Sydney. As a Travel Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the travel requirements and presenting travel solutions for large market corporations.
About You
- A high level of attention to detail is essential for this role.
- You should have experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Manager (min 2 years experience).
- International experience will also be beneficial.
- To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a 'people person' with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- You'll work within a multi-disciplinary team, so demonstrated ability to work collaboratively is crucial.
- Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills are required.
- Tertiary education is highly regarded.
- Great business acumen will also be beneficial.
Salary & Benefits
With an estimated salary range of $80,000-85,000 per annum plus super, you'll be well-rewarded for your hard work. Additionally, you'll enjoy uncapped incentives and above-market earnings. Job Responsibilities
- You will assist in making professional and accurate business travel arrangements for corporate accounts including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations.
- You will follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in the area of making travel arrangements, ticketing, Phase IVs, ticket exchanges/changes, CRS/GDS productivity.
- You will have strong international fare skills.
- You will be proficient in GDS systems, particularly Sabre.
- You will have excellent communication and professionalism.
- You will work as a team member and assist other agents as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client.
- You will maintain favourable working relationships with accounts and all of their employees.
- You will provide solutions to travel-related problems clients may have experienced with arrangements.
- You will have a high attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- You will possess expertise in fares and complex itineraries.
