Senior Environmental Planner

About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise as a Senior Environmental Planner. You will work on engaging projects in Alexandria, utilizing your skills to manage environmental approvals and provide planning advice and guidance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: Effective project management and support for other projects as required.
  • Technical Expertise and Regulatory Awareness: In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Sales and Client Relationship Management: Developing effective internal and external relationships for new and existing sales opportunities.
  • Coaching: Providing professional coaching and support to junior team members.
  • Operational Components: Ensuring adherence to internal requirements and timeframes for administrative duties.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in planning or environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in consulting or the public sector.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth and State legislation regarding planning, environmental, and heritage approvals.
