Job Title: Deputy Head of Social Work

Are you a seasoned leader with expertise in social work and evidence-based practice? Do you have a passion for shaping the future of social services and driving innovation?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Deputy Head of Department - Social Work. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive high-quality care and support the growth and development of our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Provide day-to-day operational oversight and support to the Social Work service, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Service Development: Drive service development, change management, and innovation, including redesign of supervision structures and models of care.
  • Performance Management: Manage performance issues proactively, working with team leaders to foster accountability and growth.

Requirements:

A Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) is a requirement for this role.
