Job DescriptionThis is a permanent full-time position working in Retail Banking. You will support the implementation of the Community Bank Compliance & Education Strategy within the Retail Banking Network.
You will provide guidance and support for effective compliance for Community Bank Boards, supporting the framework to manage Board compliance and provide Director education and information on policies, processes and procedures that apply to Community Bank Companies under a franchise arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and implement compliance frameworks
- Provide governance guidance to Community Bank Boards
- Support Director education and facilitation
- Stay up-to-date with legislative impacts from a government perspective
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in compliance, ideally within a banking or finance industry, and be able to build Director education tools and resources. A strong understanding of franchising governance frameworks and associated regulatory bodies is also essential.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in compliance, risk, banking, finance or education are desirable
- A sound knowledge of general banking practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated compliance and education facilitation skills
- Strong negotiation, leadership and influencing skills
