**Production Planning Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste. Your expertise in lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on orders submitted by customers, understanding forecasted demand, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Manage logistics transportation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished products to customers and distribution centers.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, customers, demand planners, and logistics teams to ensure availability of raw materials, equipment, and personnel needed for production.
  • Implement and support lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline production processes.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards and product quality requirements.
  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Experience within the food manufacturing industry, preferably with chilled protein products.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in production planning software, ERP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
