Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your expertise in testing activities will help determine and execute strategies to validate system and service designs.

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our project/program delivery teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing test plans and executing against them to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborating with development teams to understand product releases and developing acceptance criteria based on business objectives, functional requirements, and service level agreements.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive test scenarios and scripts for specific releases.
  • Performing functional, integration, and regression testing for each release cycle.
  • Reporting and tracking issue resolutions as they are found during testing.
  • Providing input on issue triaging and contributing to knowledge sharing.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in test processes, including preparation, execution, and reporting.
  • Proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Test Manager and Azure DevOps.
  • Effective communication skills to foster a positive team environment.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate internally with other IT areas, project teams, and external service providers.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and interpretive skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications or industry-recognized certification in Information Management or Computer Science (or relevant discipline).
  • SQL querying skills.
  • Strong programming knowledge.
