The role of Engineering Governance and Assurance Manager entails overseeing the execution of complex systems engineering projects within an integrated workforce.

Reporting to the Principal Engineer, this position is situated within the Enterprise Engineering section at Fleet Base West.

Key responsibilities include establishing governance frameworks across the engineering team, managing key stakeholder relationships, and identifying relevant stakeholders' expectations and concerns.

A successful candidate will be a team lead responsible for delivering outcomes through effective resource allocation and capability building.

This position requires exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders.

The AORCA SPO sustains maritime capabilities including replenishment oilers and auxiliary commercial vessels.
