Warehouse Associate Opportunity

This is a unique chance to be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering exceptional delivery schedules and services to both internal and external customers across various locations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pick all battery orders as per requirements in a timely manner, ensuring accurate fulfillment.
  • Prepare individual orders, labeling each location and date stamping batteries according to procedure.
  • Stack, wrap, and pack scrap batteries efficiently at designated DC and external storage sites.
  • Deliver batteries to their assigned storage sites promptly.
  • Verify incoming goods quality and voltage upon arrival, adhering to established procedures.
  • Cultivate a healthy work environment, prioritizing health, safety, and environmental considerations while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Report incidents and hazards immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Supervisor.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
  • Clean up any spills according to procedure and report them immediately.
  • Ensure newly delivered stock is receipted and stored according to company policy and FIFO requirements.
  • Retrieve products to be returned from external storage sites and document according to inventory procedures.
  • Pick up warranties and return them to the warehouse following inventory procedures.
  • Securely store sites before departure and develop strong working relationships with clients to ensure evolving needs are met.
  • Adhere strictly to OH&S legislation at all times.
  • Support cycle counting and stock-taking as required at both DC and external storage locations.
  • Mirror company values in behavior and actions.
  • Comply with standard practices and applicable policies and procedures.
