About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our Commercial Law team at Haircare Australia. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Senior In-house Counsel to provide support on a range of commercial legal matters.

Main Responsibilities
  • Legal Research and Documentation: Assist with legal research, fact gathering, and drafting legal documentation for review.
  • Analysis and Insights: Analyze legal documents and provide valuable insights to inform key business decisions.
  • Project Management: Manage and implement legal projects across the business, with guidance from the Senior In-house Counsel.
  • Administration and Compliance: Develop and maintain an administration framework to streamline systems and processes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Reseller Program Management: Manage and implement the company's authorized reseller program.
  • Document Management: Maintain and manage hard and electronic legal documentation and filing.
Requirements
  • Commercial Law Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience working across commercial law matters.
  • Compliance and IP Knowledge: Possesses knowledge of compliance, trademarks, and intellectual property.
  • Administrative Skills: Methodical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven culture.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Relationship Management: Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critical Thinking: Applies critical thinking skills and demonstrates continuous process improvement.
  • Passion for Law: Has a passion for legal matters and a willingness to learn, grow, and develop on the job.
