Job Title: Senior Automotive Paint Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Paint Technician to join our team. As a key member of our repair facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality paint finishes on all vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and match colors to achieve perfect matches with factory specifications.
  • Build and maintain an extensive color library for reference.
  • Prepare, prime, and paint vehicles according to manufacturer's instructions and industry standards.
  • Buff and denib vehicles to achieve showroom finish.
  • Carefully handle all vehicles to prevent damage.
  • Note any additional painting requirements not initially quoted.
  • Report any old damage or substandard repairs to the production manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior technicians as needed.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in automotive painting.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a trade-qualified automotive painter.
  • Strong commitment to working safely and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands.
