Godara Tiling Pty Ltd is a reputable tiling company offering high-quality tiling services at competitive prices. We are seeking a qualified Wall & Floor tiler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mark surfaces, materials, or areas based on the measurements and specifications provided in the plans.
  • Choose the appropriate tile-cutting tools based on the type of tiles being used and the specific cuts required.
  • Plan the layout of the mosaic pattern, taking into consideration the overall design, colour distribution, and the size of the installation area.
  • Choose the appropriate type of adhesive based on the tile material, substrate, and environmental conditions.
  • Mix granolithic, terrazzo, or cementitious materials according to manufacturer specifications or project requirements.
  • Clean the tiled surface thoroughly to remove any dust, debris, or adhesive residues before starting the grouting process.
  • Use reference lines as guides to ensure uniformity and proper alignment to maintain consistent gaps between tiles.
  • Safely and efficiently remove existing tiles, grout, and adhesive from walls and floors using appropriate tools.
  • Ensure that the adhesive is compatible with both the tiles and the prepared surfaces.
  • Review construction or project plans thoroughly to understand the scope, design, and specifications.
  • Choose the appropriate waterproofing system based on the specific requirements of the project.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV level qualification is required.
  • Relevant experience in tiling is necessary.
  • A friendly, positive, and approachable attitude is essential.
  • The candidate must be energetic and motivated.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
