Intensive Care Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Consultant to join our team at Ipswich Hospital.

This role has been developed to expand our permanent workforce and provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have the skills and attributes to bring to the department, contributing to an effective service.

  • The Intensive Care Consultant will be responsible for patient care and contributing to an effective service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to an effective service.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will normally be required to reside within 10 miles by road of the main hospital base or within 30 minutes travel time for non-resident on-call duties.
  • If appropriate, the appointee may be named as an anaesthetic trainee Educational Supervisor.
  • Pre-existing consultant level NHS responsibilities can be discussed and accommodated.

Additional Information

  • Additional roles may be offered subject to mutual agreement and may require onsite non-clinical work, remunerated through APA within the job plan.
  • If the successful candidate wishes to undertake private practice, they must offer the Trust an 11th PA prior to undertaking such arrangements.
