The role of an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician offers a great opportunity to provide vital technical support to a dynamic maintenance team. Working a 12-hour day shift roster, you'll be responsible for the execution and completion of E&I maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration tasks that ensure safe and efficient operations.

About the Role
  • Electrical disconnects and reconnects of motors are performed for replacements.
  • Conduct electrical inspections and identify potential faults.
  • Execute fault finding on electrical systems and variable speed drives (VSDs).
  • Replace and troubleshoot faulty VSD units as needed.
  • Calibrate instrumentation devices to operational standards.
  • Undertake change-outs of instrumentation equipment in line with planned maintenance.
  • Provide hands-on support and expertise to ensure safe work practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities
  • A strong background in fault finding and inspections is required on electrical and control systems.
  • Experience working with and replacing VSDs is necessary.
  • Proven ability to calibrate and change out field instrumentation is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety are required.
  • Ability to work in a residential role and contribute to a team-focused environment is expected.
