Job Title: Specialist in Mycobacterial Disease

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be part of a specialist care team, providing care to patients with mycobacterial disease.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering accountabilities and responsibilities in accordance with the organization's purpose and objectives.
  • Outpatient and inpatient case management of patients with mycobacterial disease, including tuberculosis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease under supervision.
  • Involvement in population and public health aspects of mycobacterial disease, including disease notification and reporting, contact tracing, population screening, immigration screening, and management of latent tuberculosis.
  • Contributing to the laboratory testing for mycobacterial diseases.
  • Participating in epidemiological monitoring of mycobacterial disease.
