Medical Science Liaison - Rare Diseases Role

This is a senior medical role focused on building partnerships with key opinion leaders in neurology, immunology and rare diseases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical affairs and experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. They will be responsible for leading pre-launch engagement and supporting the local execution of medical strategy in Queensland.

The successful individual will represent the company at major scientific conferences and engage with clinical trial sites. They will use evidence-based communication to build advocacy and influence external decision-makers.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field and previous experience in medical affairs or as an MSL within the pharmaceutical industry.

They will also need strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior clinical stakeholders. A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Building relationships with KOLs in neurology, immunology and rare diseases
    • Leading pre-launch engagement and supporting local medical strategy
    • Representing the company at scientific conferences
    • Engaging with clinical trial sites
