Senior Business Development Specialist for Structured Finance and Operating Lease

Business Development Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Structured Finance and Operating Lease division. As a front-line sales professional, you will play a key role in securing profitable and scalable new programs with partners.
To excel in this position, you must develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, identify new business opportunities, and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders. You will work closely with partners, brokers, and customers to deliver exceptional finance experiences and provide necessary training.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering regular business reviews, developing face-to-face relationships with internal stakeholders, and addressing escalations and queries in a timely and customer-centric manner. You will also liaise with credit, operations, and the COO Office to drive positive outcomes for partners, customers, and brokers.
In terms of business development, you will focus on achieving new business volume, margin, penetration/share of business, and Introducer satisfaction targets. You will establish long-term and profitable relationships with Program Partners, Customers, or Brokers, and develop a pipeline of new program opportunities through proactive acquisition of new customers and referral sources.
You will prepare and deliver new business presentations to referrers and potential referrers on products and services offered, promoting BOQ Finance as a quality business partner. Key performance indicators will be aligned with business objectives, ensuring your efforts drive revenue growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in business development, particularly in structured finance and operating lease.
- Strong understanding of the finance industry, including market trends and competitor analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new software applications quickly.
