Housekeeping Role

The Housekeeping role is responsible for ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for residents. This involves vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills, and clearing duties as directed.

Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, sinks, bathroom, and kitchen areas are also key responsibilities of this role. Mirrors and glass surface cleaning, waste collection and removal, and operating cleaning machinery safely are other important tasks.

This position requires the ability to work independently, have good time management and attention to detail, and be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure resident and staff areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, sinks, bathroom, and kitchen areas.
  • Mirrors and glass surface cleaning, waste collection and removal, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
  • Strip beds and towels, change sheets, clean draperies & blinds, tidy common areas, and residents' rooms.
  • Report incidents, damage, deficits, or disturbances.
