About this Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join a high-performing team delivering critical cyber capability.

In this role, you will apply your technical expertise and agile mindset to design, develop, and maintain a secure cyber operations suite within a complex and highly governed ICT environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply Agile / SAFe methodologies to design and deliver cyber operations solutions.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to meet project deadlines and stakeholder requirements.
  • Produce and review technical and non-technical documentation (SOP, HLD, DLD, SAD, SOD).
  • Operate effectively in a secure, air-gapped, and highly governed ICT environment.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the delivery of ICT and cyber security capabilities.
Requirements & QualificationsEssential:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner (mandatory – can be completed upon engagement).
  • Strong experience with Linux OS automation and administration.
  • Expertise with IT automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Chef.
  • Experience with containerisation: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitLab Runners, Jenkins, Bamboo.
  • Hypervisor experience: VMware, Hyper-V.
Desirable:
  • SAFe / Agile / DevOps / Scrum delivery experience.
  • Background in cyber security and/or ICT infrastructure.
  • Experience with Windows OS automation (PowerShell).
  • Exposure to air-gapped environments.
  • System Design experience on medium–large projects.
  • Network knowledge: routing, switching, firewalls, troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • General information security best practices.
  • Knowledge of cyber operations and toolsets.
  • Previous experience in government or highly regulated sectors.
Security Clearance Requirements
  • Must be an Australian citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
