Job Title: Weighbridge Operator

We are seeking a skilled Weighbridge Operator to join our team. This is a permanent part-time position, working 2 days per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient weighing of waste materials, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with customers to coordinate the movement of waste on and off-site
  • Answering incoming calls and assisting with enquiries while providing excellent customer service
  • Controlling vehicle movements and directing traffic
  • Using two-way radio communications
  • Completing manual paperwork for all receivals at the site
  • Data entry into Excel spreadsheets
  • Completing site visitor inductions

Requirements:

  • Basic admin skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident phone manner
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of weighbridge operations is advantageous, but training can be provided
  • A friendly attitude and willingness to be part of a close-knit team
