A leading industry client in Rutherford, NSW seeks skilled Mechanical Fitters to join their workshop team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, repair and reassemble mechanical components
  • Follow work instructions, specifications and job cards for quality and compliance
  • Conduct functional testing and inspections to verify safe operation post-repair
  • Accurately complete service and repair documentation
  • Report any faults, delays or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Assist with workshop housekeeping, including keeping work areas clean and safe
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with heavy equipment overhauls, ideally in underground mining
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures and report accurately
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
What's on Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $58.41 per hour (Open to negotiations based on experience)
  • Day shift only: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm
  • Enjoy three-day weekends, every week
